Curly Lashes

Holly Jirovsky

I don’t have much use for eyelash curlers.  Who has time for that?  Unless it is a wedding or a special event, I just don’t see the point.  I know that it really opens up your eyes, etc. But honestly.  There are days when my hairbrush is the most complicated tool in my beauty arsenal.

I also despise the pinching and holding in a cold, metal contraption.  99% of the time, I feel the urge to sneeze which could result eyelash baldness.  These are all reasons to avoid curling ones eyelashes like the plague.

So when I came across this little number, I couldn’t help but be curious.  Would it be the answer to all that I hoped?  Would it curl my lashes in one easy step minus pinching and the potential for naked eyerims?

Heated Eyelash Curler by Sephora Collection, Sephora $17

This little tool heats up like a curling iron, only it doesn’t get anywhere near that hotl  You place it on your lash line and work your way up, opening up your lashed and your eyes.

The instructions recommend that you use it after you apply your mascara.  I have tried it both ways now and I have to say, I’m not sold.  I think it does work, mildly.  Of course, I don’t know that I see that much of a difference with the traditional eyelash curler.  Maybe after you use it over a long period of time.

The verdict for now.  Save your money.  And have straight lashes.  🙂
