This color has been on the radar for a number of years. I blame the movie The Devil Wears Prada. The scene where Anne Hathaway smirks about choosing a belt and Meryl Streep shreds her to pieces starting with the color of her sweater…which so happens to be cobalt.
It is still going strong. And speaking of strong, you can never be a shrinking violet in this color. It commands attention. When I wore it, I felt like giving it a vintage twist. I paired it with a flouncy skirt that had just as much color. And then put on my pumps, added a patient leather belt and the black accents just popped!
