They are everywhere.  Booties, booties, booties.  What is the different between last year’s booties and this year’s?  This year’s are lazier; they have lower heels, are sturdier and more boot-like.  They’re boot bums; in other words, a mom’s dream! Traveling can be a pain in the neck.  Or it can be an exciting journey.  It’s all in how you look at it!  Put down the yoga pants and get into something a little more stylish!  I promise it’ll still be comfortable but your pearls and sequins need to make an exodus out of our closet at Christmastime.  And when you arrive, you’ll feel so much better about any activities that might come at you unexpectedly. Here’s an outfit I threw together for the Mr.’s work party when the invite said business casual.  I wanted to be dressed up but not too “holiday.”  A cocktail dress just wasn’t quite it. So I stepped it up a notch with dressy separates.  I went with a flouncy skirt and heels but paired them with a conservative blouse with a fun bow detail.
