It’s time for my annual “Who Got It Right” in advertising for the fall season. I love writing about ads that speak to me because there are times when you really want to purchase something simply because you love what they have to sell! First off, the Winners: Piperlime- Piperlime has updates for fall with unexpected twists. They paired neutrals with trends- add in sparkle, leather shirts, tights with shorts and burgundy colored ankle jeans to give every day life some fun. http://piperlime.gap.com/ DL- (Denim for your Lifetsyle) nineteen sixtyone Their garnet pants really struck me. http://www.dl1961.com/ The Biggest Loser: The Limited- I know this time of year black and white is an easy go to, but it is pretty much an easy go to all the time. I’m not inspired by such monochromatic wardrobes in this era of rainbow brights. What’s more, it seems the cheaper the clothing, the less variety and colors available. It reminds me a lot of something I’d find at Gordmans. Yuck. Sorry, not for me. http://www.thelimited.com/
