Don’t you love it when you do something that you can feel good about? Recently I attended my first WAR jewelry party. WAR (Women at Risk) jewelry is an organization that “creates havens of safety and healing for at-risk women and children. Our purpose and passion is to give a voice to the silenced cries of the oppressed, wrap arms of love around them, and whisper message of purpose and dignity into their brokenness.” They are known best for fighting against human trafficking and rehabilitation work with trafficking victims. Are you kidding me? I’d buy anything they put in front of me. If it helps these women and children that I can’t figure out a way to help all on my own. So I bought Christmas presents and a little something for myself. (
