I know many of you are going to be attending a graduation ceremony in the near future. And if it is your family member, chances are there will be lots of pictures taken. While the graduate’s clothing will be under a robe, your outfit should shine.
I like to think preppy for graduation. You’re in a school setting and wearing something classic in fun colors feels appropriate. I also think a sheath dress is classic, easy and looks great on just about every body.
Here I’ve chosen one in a bright color. The dress itself has seeming and structure and while it looks very stiff and starchy (great for photos), it will also be comfortable. Add in a little black and white cardigan and you’ve got a great preppy option for spring that will keep you warm should it be raining and cool, like it seems it almost always is.
A few ladylike accessories and your look is complete. While your hairstyle may be something to laugh about twenty years from now, this outfit won’t be.
