After recently celebrating homecoming, it had me in the mood to do another round of “what to wear to my child’s sporting event” for fall sports. I’ve put together a series for all the fall sports I could think of and while some of them are your traditional “school pride” shirt, not all of them are what you would expect.
Try to think outside the box as much as possible. Just because it is a sporting event doesn’t mean you have to scream frump or dress like your mom (unless of course your mother is fashionable).
This outfit is for cross country. And it’s as close to basic as I’m going to go. But for this sport, you might be running across a golf course or a field to see your star runner. So comfy but cute sneakers are a must. These little trainers by New Balance are everywhere this season. They come in lots of different colors too. Who knows what kind of weather you’ll encounter so have on some layers, including something to keep your ears warm.
