Here is a little tour of the Farmhouse when we purchased it.
As you can see, it was in rough shape. There was plaster removed in places and it looked as if it was in the beginning stages of a remodel. The bones of the house are in excellent shape. The foundation is good and it has room for a potential double garage. Plus a nice big fenced-in backyard (that is currently a mess). The backyard and the room for a two-car garage in the middle of town are a big win!
The flooring on the main floor was plywood cut into strips but unfortunately, it felt very uneven in places and wasn't finished. It made me feel like the house was being suffocated. There was very little to be salvaged. Not to mention, there was again a ton of stuff to be moved out.
