We have officially entered the dog days of summer. I really love these slower, lazy days. When the kids have run out of juice on their normal summer shenanigans and the ball days are over. This sweet little gap between back-to-school and registration and football camp. As my kids get older, I really treasure these days. They are as rare as free Saturday mornings at home during the school year.
And that brings me to your summer wardrobe. Summer is so easy. A few new dresses, a great pair of shorts, and some fun tops and you can get through the whole summer. But now is also the time to score some really good deals on summer stuff, if you have the patience for it. I love to pick up a few new things on sale now to pack up for next year.

Today's outfit is pretty easy going. I love myself a kimono. If you don't have one, GOT GET ONE. I wear these things to my kids' ballgames (especially on days when I've had too much sun), I wear them out, I wear them when I get a little chill in the A/C. These babies are wonderful. I feel they've become the replacement for the scarves that we all had two years ago.
